Lazy ways to become smarter

I'm going to change my usual TV schedule to include some more intelligent shows. This action was not at all inspired by the fact I ran out of things to watch since almost all of my shows are currently on there in-between seasons break. boooo.

So, I have decided to start watching some National Geography episodes and other documentary shows and movies. I quite love watching shows like this. Plus, some of the good documentaries such as Catfish, The Business of Being High, Dear Zachary etc are extremeley intriguing. Loved them both. Definatley recommending them all to all you out there.
So, there you go, a lazy way to become smarter.

2000 years ago, 13 was a lot older than it is today.
The moratality of life was better appreciated in the olden ages since you never knew if you were going to live very long.

Today was pretty uneventful.
For a while, my friend's boyfriend thought that her and I were contaminated by E.Coli. Not to worry, false alarm.

Today's Things of Interest

1. Rabindranath Tagore

I actually wanted to label it as the 'quote of the day'. But the thing is, I'm not the best at decision making, and trying to pick the firts quote EVER to go on this blog was way to stressful. So I settled for a person instead.
Maybe I'll mature as this blog goes on and become more decisive, and THEN I'll will be able to narrow it down to just a quote. For all you lazy bums out there, I googled 'Famous Tagore Quotes' for you. I think the 'school of wisdom' has a pretty comprehensive list. 2. Bombay Bicycle Club and Tame Impala (not a self discovery, they were recommended by my friends - again awesome people)

3. Intersting fact of the day, I haven't come across anything yet, so we'll use a previous one. Best animals at detecting landmines: Rats.
I used to have so many interesting facts I learnt through watching movies and tv shows, but all that is now gone. boo. One day I will finally get over the death of my laptop.

My Very First Post

Bascially what happened to my laptop made me realise that I might as well keep an account of my days online. I don't want to jinx it by sayng it will never happen. I've watched enough movies and tv shows to know better. Plus, if the web crashes, I will have bigger wories than loosing my diary/something equivalent.

This started after I typing this out when skyping my little sis (who is just an awesome person)...

im a hairy monkey
from the jungles of india
i roam the himalayas, snug and warm with my blanket of fur
hear me roar

Anywho, more later, I have to go sort out my life. There's a lot to do. No, nothing dramatic. Im not homeless or anything. There's just a lot I need to do.
